Kerpoence is a pretty, detached cottage just for two, on a quiet street in the village of Laniscat. The village is situated in the centre of Brittany and is surrounded by typical French countryside. The Gorges du Daoulas is a half hour walk away and the Neolithic standing stones on the moors at Liscuis are a similar distance. The annual 'son et lumiere' spectacular, depicting the history of Brittany from Neolithic times through to the revolution, takes place at the nearby Abbaye de Bon Repos.

Our cosy cottage is an ideal retreat for a couple, being well equipped throughout and having a private terrace and small garden. Electric central heating means the cottage can be enjoyed all year round. Close by is the bakers and local bars/restaurants - what more do you need for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? A ten minute car ride away is the beautiful Lac de Guerledan with its sandy beaches, watersports, lake-side cafes and restaurants.

Gouarec is the nearest town, being only a five minute car ride away. Here you will find a supermarket, bakers, cafes, restaurants, a swimming pool, mini golf, canoe hire, tourist office, banks & pharmacy. 'Kerpoence' is well placed for visiting the many attractions Brittany has to offer. The North and South coasts are only an hours drive away, Pontivy (a Napoleonic town), situated on the river Blavet, is 20 minutes away, Montcontour, a medieval hill-top town is 40 minutes away, St Brieuc (the nearest city) with its mix of traditional & modern shops is only 45 minutes drive.

If you've had enough of driving then you can walk or cycle to the Abbaye de Bon Repos, the moorland of Liscuis, the Gorges du Daoulas or along the peaceful Nantes - Breast canal.
